The new trailer of Avengers: End of the game is present, and she brought a friend in the form of Carol Danvers, the current queen of the box office. But it also allowed us to have a most insignificant insight into the ultimate outcome of the great Avengers vs. Thanos battle. Here is what we managed to spot among the ruins.
The trailer opens with nostalgia, with excerpts from the film that triggered everything: Iron Man. The trailer relies heavily on the movies of the past to avoid showing us as well a lot.
But is it just nostalgia or perhaps a clue of persistent rumors End of Game for a moment? Reports gave us long ago images of what appeared to be new images shot around The Avengers"Battle of New York, with the implications of time travel (or even the BARF simulation technology of Captain America: Civil War) being the reason for that.
Whatever the case may be, Tony Stark's narrative about it (Robert Downey Jr. is new): "My God, it looks like it was a thousand years ago … I fought to get out from this cave, then I became Iron Man … I realized that I loved you. "That's probably part of the message we saw on board the Benatar in the first trailer, about to run out of air and about to say goodbye to Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), while we get a few more old movies from the original Iron Man and Iron Man 3.
As Tony continues to think about what could have been – the chance to win one last surprise win – before his inevitable rescue, we have a long picture of him BenatarThe viewing window. The question remains, who brings Tony back to Earth, as we will see later in this trailer? Does it mean the nebula (Karen Gillan), which we know is at least at one point on the ship, or is it Captain Marvel (Brie Larson)? )? Honestly, it seems that Captain MarvelPost-credits End of Game This sequence implied that she was able to track down Fury's pager message in a pretty clear way. No time to find an awesome billionaire playboy philanthropist on the way?
Anyway, it's now time for Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) to be treated with nostalgia! He gets not only old pictures of what some call the best Captain America movie, The first avenger-Other opinions are available and also false – but he also gets a voiceover: the old Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) of The Winter SoldierSteve says, "The world has changed … and none of us can go back. All we can do is our best. And sometimes the best thing we can do is start all over again. Peggy, or at least her memory – after all, she pbaded away during the events of Civil warPlayed an important role in what we saw from the Cape Arch End of Game so far, which has led to hope or speculation that, if it was the last time Evans was behind the shield, he would be able to finish it and reunite him with his true love.
Peggy's narration continues, but we move on to another Avenger and painfully glimpse Clint Barton's past (Jeremy Renner), reminding him of teaching a girl – who is presumably his daughter Age of Ultron, although slightly grown up – the tools of his craft. Either Hawkeye may have been lost during the breakdown of Thanos, herself or the rest of her family, or, perhaps, by a scary cartoon that evokes the disappearance of the Hawkeye coat. In comics, Kate Bishop became Hawkeye (after Clint's disappearance after her death and recovery afterHouse of M), but she had no connection with him.
As in the comics, he became at the time the masked hero Ronin, an element we knew well. End of Game has been incorporating. We have another picture of Clint in disorder that meets with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), this time extended to show both hands standing briefly. D'aww.
The old sequence used in this trailer is intriguing and focuses on the characters and houses that our remaining heroes have lost. Steve is a little heartbroken when we see Peggy's funeral Civil war, while Thor (Chris Hemsworth) gets, well, Thor, looking back at his lost Asgardian home and his now deceased father Odin (Anthony Hopkins). But he also gets Avengers: war in the infinite Snap victims like Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), while we solemnly note that he "saw all these people die," hinting to some lingering regrets that let Thor try to take sole responsibility for their deaths. Maybe he should have aimed at the head.
Finally, a more fleshy shot of real End of Game images again, as we see Natasha, Steve and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) at the Avengers HQ – and Nat has her two-tone hair. In some scenes, she is completely blonde, like when she meets Hawkeye. This is likely what will happen next. Because later, when we see the whole team gathered, her hair will always be in that style. "I do not stop telling everyone that they should move on," notes Steve. "Some do it, but not us." are Avengers, Steve.
While Nat and Steve think that if they have a chance to cancel the horror of Thanos, they should do it. We see for the first time Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), who survived the crisis during his journey into the Quantum Kingdom at the end of Ant-Man and the wasp (We have not yet determined whether his presence in the quantum realm had saved him from dusty destiny, as it was a coincidence – but we badume the first). It's probably at least a little after the initial shock, considering the missing posters he looks with disappointment.
Meanwhile, a Quinjet flies over Tokyo – notice the Tokyo Tower on the left, and the Rainbow Bridge (yes, yes!) On Odaiba and Shibaura Pier – with Clint and Nat on board. It was in Tokyo that Clint was probably near Ronin.
But we quickly cut that dangerous Hawkeye shot trying to get past a huge explosion in some kind of underground tunnel. His outfit matches the one we just saw in the Quinjet: is this part of his adventure in Tokyo or elsewhere with Nat?
Speaking of action, the trailer begins to get very heavy while Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and War Machine (Don Cheadle) are ready for action. Rocket's owns a space rifle very well, and notice that this warrior and puffy War Machine combo for Rhodey! And finally-finally-After being seen in the conceptual art for Guardians of the Galaxy Years and years ago, Rocket is wearing a cinematic version of his cartoon uniform from the 2008 edition of Abnett / Lanning that inspired the film crew.
Also note: Where the hell is this fall? he seems To be the same battle, we see later in the caravan, but it should be borne in mind that its real location is obscured by ashes and flames. Is the fight against Thanos, or another battle ahead?
Before taking the lead, it's time to prepare a bit more with what appears to be Steve's meeting with Hawkeye after he returns to headquarters by Nat – while he closes his voice off earlier to take the risk to cancel this with a simple "We are going. No matter what it takes. We also have a good look at Hawkeye's extremely questionable cut. Maybe he learned the snap if his hairdresser had dusted himself at the edge of the razor?
We are preparing further for the battle, as we separate from Scott Lang, join in what looks like the Avengers' HQ, and then a quick photo of an electrifying Thor preparing for Stormbreaker.
Nebula triggers a primordial scream before embarking on the battle, but … where is she? The lighting corresponds to the location of Rocket and War Machine, rather than Titan, where we saw it for the last time (besides, why would it rush into battle when only Tony and she were still standing?). The yellow hue in the sky, however, gives the impression that it is not the Earth, as are all wrecks. Is this really the world where we saw Thanos take care of crops in the first trailer after his victory? Or is it another alien world in which she is?
As we get another brief shot of Clint preparing for the same tunnel we saw exploding earlier, and a rehearsal of Natasha's Superbowl spot landing on a firing range at the Avengers HQ, we both hear echoing to Steve's "anything" of their own.
Another extension of the Super Bowl point is this photo of Steve tightening his shield straps. We now see him cringe – which also reveals that this is happening in the same scenario as we saw earlier, Rocket, Rhodey and Nebula. So yes, it sounds like a real scrapping of the "last fight" here.
Meanwhile, Ant-Man starts a miniature action, while the fire and lighting went appear to suggest that it's where Cape and the others are fighting. If that's the case, then maybe it's not a place as foreign as we thought. Notice the objects surrounded by Scott: a pencil, a headphone jack, which looks like a tape measure. All beautiful objects Earth-ish. So it's either somewhere different from the rest of our heroes and this is just lightly edited, or whatever it is that this breach is a little closer to home than expected.
We reduced to Tony aboard the Benatar record his final message, just to give him a "whatever it takes" of his.
A new dawn rises at the Avengers HQ, as are our heroes badembled. Not everyone here, or at least shown here: Steve, Scott, Nebula, Clint, Rhodey and Nat. But we also Tony and Nebula. So at this point, they have been saved from their fate (oh, like Tony would come out in this movie as this!) But also, note the elegant costumes! Themed armor, or is it a space suit? Hell, the inspiration for Hank Pym's Quantum Realm Ant-Man and the wasp on these could even suggest a trip into the microscopic realms rather than the cosmic realms.
In fact, this is not the first time we see these appearances – disclosed goods revealed the costumes recently, but it was still uncertain whether they constituted a misdirection only for the toys or actually in the film. to see the latter confirmed. This raises an interesting point: these toys also reveal characters such as Rocket, Hulk, Thor, and even Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), who never sees himself at all, puts on these outfits. So maybe not everyone is in this shot of panning. In addition, it is worth mentioning that apart from the flashback scenes, no Wakandan is in sight.
The trailer ends with a hero we were waiting to see in this film: Carol Danvers is at the Avengers' headquarters after seeing her arrive quickly and asking where Nick Fury is. Captain MarvelThe first post-credit scene. It's a short but amusing moment: Thor, who tries to intimidate the newcomer, calls Stormbreaker within reach, right in front of her. A smirk. Oh, we agree, Odinson – we as that one too. Also: note that Nat has her full blonde War of Infinity hair here, so it's probably pre-braid and tincture and pre-Hawkeye. So maybe Carol arrives at the scene pretty quickly? We will have to wait and see.
Like our previous looks on End of Game, this trailer does not tell us everything this far beyond what we already knew: the Avengers, beaten and bruised, are regrouping and preparing for one last effort to eliminate Thanos once and for all. What this effort entails, or the price that will have to be paid to see it succeed, remains invisible. And at this point, we will probably have no more hints before End of Game actually hits the theaters.
It's not long, it's only a month and a half before April 26th.
