Carlo Ancelotti says he would ideally like to expand his goalie rotation policy to include the playing time of Jonas Lossl and Joao Virginia.
But Everton’s boss suggested it would be difficult for him to offer either man minutes at the moment.
Ancelotti has dropped Jordan Pickford off the bench for the second time this season in favor of playing loaned Robin Olsen against Leicester City midweek.
The Blues manager has confirmed Pickford will return to the starting lineup for tonight’s game with Arsenal, but Ancelotti appears keen to keep those two goalkeepers rotating on a regular basis.
Ancelotti would also like to include Lossl – who has yet to play for the club – and Virginia in this rotation, but admits it is difficult to find room for them.

Asked how Pickford made his decision to play Olsen against Leicester, the manager said: “I spoke with him [Pickford] before Newcastle and before the game against Leicester.
“He understood, he works well, he is professional.
“I think he knows the goalie he’s working with is a good goalie.
“My desire was to give opportunities to Lossl and Virginia as well because they are good goalkeepers and train professionally but unfortunately I can’t do what I want sometimes.”
