Prosecutors in Tokyo have filed another indictment against Carlos Ghosn for aggravated breach of trust.
The former Nissan president is battling a legal battle since November over allegations of financial misconduct.
Prosecutors claim that Ghosn sent money to a car dealership in Oman and that part of it was found in a Lebanese screen company that he controls.
They say Nissan lost nearly $ 5 million as a result of the deal.
The former leader was arrested for the fourth time earlier this month.
Ghosn denied all the allegations.
His lawyers severely criticized the way prosecutors dealt with the case. They should ask for a deposit for Ghosn after the last indictment.
