Derek Carr hit a 31-yard touchdown pass to a wide-open Zay Jones with 3 minutes 38 seconds left in overtime to give the Las Vegas Raiders a crazy 33-27 victory over the visiting Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.
The winning score came two games after Carl Nassib forced a fumble by Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, and Darius Philon recovered at Baltimore 27.
Las Vegas, who won the toss to start overtime, appeared to win the game earlier in overtime when Carr hit Bryan Edwards with a 33-yard pass on the straight sideline that was deemed a touchdown on field. The call was canceled following a replay that showed Edwards’ knee touched the ground before he extended the ball over the goal line.
Carr was then stopped on a sneaking shot, and after rookie right tackle Alex Leatherwood received a five-yard false start penalty, Carr threw an incomplete pass. On third and on goal, Carr’s pass to Willie Snead was deflected and intercepted in the end zone by Anthony Averett.

Instead, Carlson tied with his 55 yards with two seconds remaining. It happened after Carr hit Edwards, who hadn’t caught a pass the entire game, for 20- and 18-yard passes.
