Cavani suffers from a three-day muscle injury from United's shock

Paris St Germain were injured again before Tuesday's Champions League trip to Manchester United, while striker Edinson Cavani had a muscular problem in the win against Bordeaux.

The Uruguayan international injured by scoring a penalty in the 1-0 victory of PSG in Ligue 1 and was replaced immediately after.

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel, who is already without Neymar because of the conflict between Old Trafford and his metatarsal, admitted that Cavani was a doubt for the United game.

The German told the club's website: "Tonight, Edinson was injured in a muscle.

"The game against Manchester United is very tight and we will use this time to recover as quickly as possible.

"This match is a huge challenge for us and it's always better to play this type of match with your key players."

The victory over Bordeaux allowed the league leaders to return to victory after their defeat in Lyon, but they fought in front of goal.

Tuchel said, "We really struggled to score, despite a great first half.

"We dominated well, took possession of the ball and created many opportunities.

Midfielder Marco Verratti, who has made a comeback from an ankle injury, said: "We still need to improve. We did not manage to kill the match.

"Everyone is looking forward to Tuesday's game. It will be a beautiful match and we have confidence in our abilities.

"We all know that it's a very important match for us and the club. We need everyone to win. "
