CBBC star Mya-Lecia Naylor dies at the age of 16

BBritish children's TV star Mya-Lecia Naylor died at the age of 16. Naylor, who has appeared on shows including Millie Inbetween and Almost Never, died on April 7, but the cause of death remains unclear.

Naylor starred alongside Emily Atack, Fleur East and Tess Daly in CBBC's Never Never show.

The program followed the band The Wonderland and the rival girls' group, Girls Here First, who participated in the fictional TV talent show The Spotlight.

A statement from its representatives, A & J Management, described Naylor as "deeply talented" and said she would miss her "a lot".

They said: "It is with the greatest sorrow that we must announce that on Sunday, April 7, Mya-Lecia Naylor died.

"Mya-Lecia had a lot of talent and a lot of A & J, she will miss us a lot.

"Our love and thoughts are with all his family and friends in this difficult time."
