As you probably know now, we are overly enthusiastic about HBO. guardians series, which will hit the network later this year. There is an incredible cast. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross make the score. Damon Lindelof shows the thing, and was very frank about the fact that it's not a direct adaptation of the comic book series of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Everything sounds good.
And now there is that.
There is so much to unwrap here that I do not know where to start.
C & # 39; absolutely not the guardians we know and love (it's sort of a sequel), but it's rather exciting, right? Zack Snyder's adaptation in 2009 was about as faithful to the source as one could reasonably expect (and, for my buck, it was damn awesome!), But I'm not sure about it. would have very little use for another version of it – only longer. Lindelof seems to play with the iconography of this property in many interesting ways, and the quality displayed here is excellent. We will watch (HAR!) The eternal shit out of this series.
Here is an official synopsis:
"guardians takes place in an alternative contemporary reality in the United States, in which masked militiamen have become illegal because of their violent methods. In spite of this, some people come together to start a revolution, others oppose it before it is too late, when a vast question is above all; who's watching the guards?
We are all in it. We are all in it. We could not be more in it. What's up for you? Tell us what you think in the comments below and stay tuned to find out more about guardians as new updates become available. We still have no launch date, but there are rumors on the street that the program will air on HBO before the end of the year.
