A leading member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the district of Awutu Senya West, Mr. Gabby Quaye blamed the government for wasting state resources in unnecessary parties to celebrate. loans instead of celebrating concrete achievements.
The government raised $ 3 billion from international financial institutions through a three-tranche Eurobond that drew more proposals than the country had requested.

He concluded by calling on Ghanaians to change the government by mbadively voting against President Akufo-Addo in the 2020 general election.
