In order to form a central cell-free detection zone in the center of every well of a 96-well plate, Oris™ Cell Migration assays utilize physical “stopper” barriers.

  • Use Oris ™ for maximum flexibility in test design.
  • Use Oris ™ with the Oris ™ detection mask for the analysis of plate readers without virtual masking.
  • Use Oris ™ if the cells need a long period of adhesion.
  • Choose plates treated with tissue culture, collagen I, or fibronectin.
  • Seed the cells around the caps and remove the caps when the cells have adhered to the surface to begin the test.
