Celtic skipper Brown sees red after winner

The two teams ended the match with Killie's Kirk Broadfoot sent for a foul on Brown 15 minutes before the skipper of the champions scored the only goal of the match with a volley in the back of the goal.

However, after scoring that goal, Brown also saw red for a second bookable offense because of his celebrations as he ran towards the Celtic fans.

Earlier, Motherwell had recorded a sixth straight win in the league after a mistake by Hearts goaltender Colin Doyle in stoppage time, which helped them to win 2-1 at Fir Park.

David Turnbull's 25-meter free kick seems to be covered by Doyle but the goalkeeper sees the ball out of range and into the net.

Rising teenage star Jake Hastie had placed Motherwell hosts in the lead with his fourth goal in three games before Steven Naismith equalized for Hearts.

Ben Garuccio saw red for the visitors a minute before the Turnbull winner for a tackle on Liam Grimshaw.
