Chelsea may have celebrated last night in Azerbaijan, but some players have not been involved against Arsenal due to injury.
Antonio Rudiger was one of those, but the German international was in Baku as the Blues won, joining the celebrations after Chelsea took the 4-1 win to win the Europa League trophy.
But two players who had participated in the competition and scored vital goals for the Blues were not in Baku, as they continue to recover from serious injuries to Achilles tendon.
And Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta sent a message to Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek as he celebrated his medal at the Olympic Stadium field.
"Callum, Ruben, you missed us so much tonight, but it's for you," he says in a video message via the official Twitter account of the club .
"After the good work to get here, [you are] unlucky not to be here tonight, but we are proud of you and hope to see you soon. Come on Chelsea! "
Meanwhile, Azpilicueta also made kind comments to teammate Gary Cahill, who is expected to leave Chelsea this summer after seven years at the club.
Cahill was an unused substitute for the final, but he participated in the celebrations by raising the trophy alongside Azpilicueta, who said it was a proper farewell to the former Aston Villa and Bolton Wanderers.
