“We talked about this ambulance problem, but everyone fell on deaf ears. The workers were angry because the ambulance did not show up, ”he said.
According to the eyewitness, during the demonstration, armed police entered the yard and started shooting at the demonstrators.
As a result, some workers were injured, including one person who was hit in the eye by a rubber bullet.
“The management called the police, and when they got there they shot at the crowd. They were about six officers. They were shooting directly at the crowd. One person was shot in the eye and the other in the back [sic], said the eyewitness.
Saturday afternoon, the situation would be under control, although armed soldiers were invited to monitor and guard the port and its infrastructure.
