Chaos erupted in Nanton, in the north of the country, while the Yaa Naa elected a new community leader.
The Yaa Naa installed the Vo Naa Mahamadu Bawa as the new head of the city of Dagbon when the fight broke out.
According to sources, the young people of the city preferred the Zosali chief to this new role.
