The former Game of Thrones actor, Charles Dance, who played the role of Tywin Lannister in the early days of the series, spoke on the controversial final of the series.
Talk to Hello Brittany, Dance explained how he was "baffled" by the series finale. "I watched as much as possible because there are characters like Daenerys, his character, my character, we never met, so we would meet only in junkets and other things", revealed Dance. "I wanted to know what was happening to these characters."

He continued, "I got to the end and I thought: Hmm … OK … there is a little Arya (Maisie Williams) going on a cruise somewhere, poor Jon's (Harington Kit) went up the north beyond the wall and then there is Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), and all the people left alive are sitting around the table. So, what are we going to do now? Should we have a cup of tea or something? I thought: "Oh, I do not know."

Regarding who he wants to see reign in the kingdom, Dance admitted that it would have been "brilliant" to see Tyrion become king, despite the fact that his character had murdered Tywin in the fourth season of the series.

Sophie Turner and Jacob Anderson both criticized the idea of a remake, which was advanced by an incredibly popular petition.
