Former election commissioner Charlotte Osei arrived in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, to begin her mission at the United Nations.
Ms. Osei was recently appointed Commissioner for International Elections in Afghanistan by the UN.
Afghanistan is expected to hold its presidential elections in September 2019.
Ms. Osei is one of the international advisers expected to support the work of the electoral management bodies in Afghanistan.
