The CW released a new trailer recapping Charmed’s two previous seasons, before airing the Supernatural Series Season 3 premiere on Sunday, January 24.
Ahead of Charmed’s Season 3 premiered on January 24, the series released a new trailer.
CharmThe clip for “Saga Sell” opens with Macy Vaughn (Madeleine Mantock) recording a recap of what brought the Charmed Ones and Harry (Rupert Evans) to this point, recording their story just in case, as she puts it, “all is well in hell,” as shared by The CW.

Macy continues to reflect on the biggest moments of Season 2, noting, “So a year ago we were just living our lives as The Charmed Ones. When out of nowhere an assassin came for us.” Macy adds that she and her sisters were able to escape through a portal, but were placed in a “disease protection” program across the country in Seattle.
During their time on the program, Macy explains that the trio encountered a number of powerful allies and learned that their assassin was Harry’s darkest. The Charmed Ones also discovered The Faction, a secret organization run by human billionaires, seeking to steal magic for their technology. The recap ends with Macy’s explaining, “But now we know who we are. And we know who they are. And the only question left is, ‘Who’s going to make it out alive? “”
The CW trailer created after Mantock revealed that Season 3 will also look more into social justice issues. “For Season 3… I see this expansion of what the positive portrayal can be, in terms of the size of the under-represented pool that we choose to show here,” Mantock said.
Mantock added, “Our writers, producers and showrunners – the people responsible for making these decisions – are incredibly open to what we would like to see. They really do what they can to make these things happen.”
The official synopsis of Charmed’s Opening of season 3:
The lives of the Charmed Ones (Melonie Diaz, Madeleine Mantock and Sarah Jeffery) are in danger as the faction draws closer. Macy and Harry (Rupert Evans) struggle to define their relationship. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Natalia Fernandez (episode # 301).
Charm stars Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz, Rupert Evans, Valerie Cruz, Ser’Darius Blain and Ellen Tamaki. It airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW, with Season 3 premiering Sunday, Jan. 24 at 9 p.m. ET / PT.
