Garry Monk insists that Che Adams has not been touched by the interest of the Premier League even though he has not matched the Birmingham record set by Trevor Francis in 1978.
Southampton, Southampton's top wing, had canceled January's offerings for fitness striker Adams, who scored 19 goals. Another game against Bolton on Tuesday would have equaled Francis' record for scoring in seven successive league games 41 years ago.
Adams entered the match with full confidence after a QPR hat trick this weekend. Goalkeeper Remi Matthews denied a one-on-one opportunity at the last minute of the visitors' 1-0 win.

Blues boss Monk insisted: "I would not expect this to affect him at all. He scored 19 goals, it tells you everything about his character.
"Che scored a hat trick just after the deadline, which just shows where he is focusing. I am extremely happy with Che.

"I am disappointed with this chance, he took them to have fun. But you can not score every time. This is not for lack of effort.
"If you watch your luck, the goalkeeper plays and dives early. Fortunately for him, he plunges in the right direction – nine times out of ten, it's at the bottom of the net. "
