CBS has released nine new images of "Such Sweet Sorrow", the thirteenth (and penultimate) episode of Star Trek: DiscoverySecond season, revealing the return of an intriguing character.

Synopsis
When the United States The crucial mission of Discovery is not going as planned. Burnham understands what needs to be done in the end. The crew is preparing for the battle of a lifetime as Leland's control ships come closer.
Po returns
The new photos published today reveal the return of Yadira Guevara-Prip to the post of Po (full name Hani Ika Hali Ka Po), which was introduced in the Star Trek: short treks episode "Runaway."

Po comes from the planet Xahea, rich in precious mineral dilithium of Star Trek. The end of Short treks if Po returned to her planet to become queen. The photo above shows the beaming Po on board the USS Discovery. The picture below shows her eating ice cream.

In "Runaway," Po revealed that she was an engineer who developed a method for recrystallizing dilithium, a technology that Scotty will develop for Starfleet more than a decade later. It is possible that Discovery discovers Xahea in order to obtain the power necessary to use the temporal crystal picked up during the previous episode of Boreth. In the trailer of "Such Sweet Sorrow", you can see Xahea identified on the screen.

"Such Sweet Sorrow" will appear on All Access on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 8:30 pm ET / 5:30 pm PT. It will air on Space at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT the same evening. It will be available on Netflix the next morning, Friday, April 12, 2019.
