Let's talk about all these reunions during the premiere of Game of Thrones season 8, "Winterfell" by David Harris (Razor)
So, you saw Game of thrones Season 8, Episode 1, "Winterfell", and you have so many thoughts swirling in your head, but you do not know where to start. Well, what about the beginning! HBO just released the brand new Game of thrones intro, so sit back and watch it a few hundred times.
From the start, the astrolabe (so it's called, do not blame me) for what appears to be a new golden figure on a dragon. It looks like the figure is the king of the night, but I could be wrong. Then we head for the gaping hole in the wall with a stream of ice, which, I am sure, represents the army of the dead flowing past Last Hearth, the former headquarters of Umber House.
The other major differences in this introduction are the accuracy of each castle. For the first time in the history of the series, we will see the wheels of the map, like the dragon skulls at the bottom of the Red Keep. It was fun to watch and makes me regret that they changed the introduction a few years ago.
Game of thrones Episode 802 airs on HBO next Sunday at 9:00 am ET.
