Mr. Abdul Hayye-Yartey President of Cheetah Football Club, a lower division team donated some football equipment to musician Martin King Arthur known as “Kofi Kinaata”.

The decision is to support Team Move FC of Kofi Kinaata, a youth football club based in Takoradi.

The three-time Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) songwriter of the year received 20 soccer balls, two sets of scorers and two sets of bibs from Mr Yartey.

Kofi Kinaata, who also serves as a brand ambassador for Cheetah Football Club, has repeatedly used his brand to support and promote the club.

Mr Yartey said during the presentation that the gesture was to return the musician’s kindness and support to Cheetah FC.

“Kofi Kinaata has done a lot for my club and I really appreciate him. He is always available when requested. When he told me that he had decided to own a football club, I was excited, but I know how difficult the industry is, so I decided to support him with these articles, which I think, would help his club, ”he said.

Kofi Kinaata, receiving the articles, thanked Mr. Yartey for the gesture saying, “My admiration for the way Mr. Yartey runs his club is what inspired me to own a football club. He does a great job and always advises me on how I should run my club. I am very grateful to him for this gesture and I promise to use it to support Efiekuma’s many talents.

In another related development, Mr. Yartey has donated the same items, including a set of jerseys, to Kumasi-based GIHOC Babies where he has purchased players like Mohamed Iddriss, Emmanuel Bio and is preparing to extend the same gesture to the Yaw Dabo Football Academy.
