Gonzalo Higuain is expected to make his highly anticipated debut at Chelsea on Sunday – and fans are enthusiastic.
Maurizio Sarri's men will face Sheffield on Wednesday in the fourth round of the FA Cup as the Italian tries to win the silverware in his first season.
The 31-year-old striker found his former boss in Naples on Wednesday after being loaned to Chelsea until the summer.
The Chelsea contract includes the possibility of extending the stay of Argentina for another campaign or to buy it from Juventus permanently.
Higuain had been loaned during the first half of the season to AC Milan, where he had scored eight goals in 22 games.
The striker was forced to leave Juve after just two seasons, despite the fact that the giants of Serie A have spent 90 million euros on the former Napoli player. The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer had a major impact on the progression.
Chelsea has been linked to Higuain for some time and finally has his man.
Before its debut, the club aired images of the killer who scored from different angles at the training – and that left the fans excited.
A supporter replied, "He's deadly, this guy will become a Chelsea favorite."
Another fan said, "We now have an attacker!"
After writing the pen on his £ 270,000 weekly contract, Higuain said, "When the opportunity to join Chelsea came up, I had to grab it.
"This is a team that has a lot of history, a beautiful stadium and plays in the Premier League, a league in which I always wanted to play.
"I hope now to be able to give back the confidence that Chelsea has shown in the field. I look forward to starting and I hope to be able to adapt as quickly as possible."
