JORGINHO has ruled out leaving Chelsea – despite the departure of his mentor.
The midfielder followed Maurizio Sarri to the Blues since Napoli last summer and was seen as the cornerstone of his "Sarri-ball" system.
But Jorginho, 27, has a new role under Frank Lampard and should stay in place.
The Brazilian ace, said: "Sarri was my manager, he was not my friend.
"We've been working for four years, but now, that's another time, another chapter of my life.
"I can not wait to be there. Sarri left and I stayed and I have to do some work for my team.
"I have a long contract here, four years, and I am very happy in Chelsea."
Lamps plays at the Italian international as one of two central midfielders, and not in a trio like Sarri.

The fans were hoping Jorginho would have a more offensive attack – and in the 2-1 win over Barcelona, he offered Tammy Abraham a helping hand.
He said, "Maybe that means more help, maybe not.
"It's new to me but I like it. I have more space to create and that means I'm freer and I can do more things with my creativity.
"You need a little time but we are working very well.
"My style is to be present and control the game. So I think I'll be there to control and organize the team.
"I stay in the middle and my teammates can go out and attack."
Jorginho thinks he's a better player than it was 12 months ago when he first came out.
He added, "I am more aggressive. I learned a lot last season with intensity and aggressiveness. "
