The Blues suffered their worst loss in 23 years against the Cherries and the defender blames the players, not the manager.
Antonio Rudiger said Chelsea should be ashamed of his performance against Bournemouth on Wednesday night.
The Blues lost 4-0 on the south coast, forcing coach Maurizio Sarri to lock his players in the locker room for 45 minutes after the match as he looked for answers to Chelsea's performance drop.
Although Rudiger gave no explanation for what happened on Wednesday, he said the performance – which ended alongside Sarri after the club's worst defeat in 23 years – was unacceptable.

"Everyone must be ashamed of what happened in the last game," said the German international. Sky sports.
"Everyone needs to think deeply about this because we can win, lose or draw, but that's the way that matters.
"In the second half, I can not really describe it, we went out and they scored after two minutes, then things went really bad, nothing came from us – N & # 39; Golo [Kante] had a half chance but that was all.
"If you look at the football point of view, we made it too easy for Bournemouth to lose the ball in front of goal, and everyone knows that Bournemouth is coming to the counter and waiting for him.
"We played better this season and that's what hurts, we have not really tried to change that result, that's what's bad
Rudiger called for calm after the defeat and felt that Chelsea's success for the rest of the season will depend on his mental toughness.
"We call ourselves a high-level team, but that can not happen to us," he said.
"We have to be mentally strong for the rest of the season – it's clear now, we're in Chelsea, there has been a lot of criticism from the outside, but here we have to be calm in our minds and honest with ourselves.
"The tactic is not my business because I'm not the coach, I'm a player, but everyone has to hire again
"We have to go back to basics, because it's not normal for a Bournemouth player to face four defenders and get through.

"These basic principles are to win challenges, to look for challenges. It's good if you have possession of it, but everyone needs to know what is his job, that is, to say, to be above all a blank sheet.
"We have to find continuity because there are too many ups and downs, we have to win against Huddersfield and show a big reaction after the defeat of Bournemouth."
The Blues will be looking to bounce back when they host the Huddersfield base town on Saturday.
