Chelsea captain Gary Cahill has accused Maurizio Sarri of disrespect for banning him from the first team despite his past exploits with the club.

Cahill was limited to just 21 minutes of Premier League football and will be replaced by Chelsea's 0-0 draw with West Ham in late September.

After seven and a half years at Stamford Bridge, Cahill has to leave this summer. He confessed that he was anxious to forget his last year at the club.

"It's very difficult. I played regularly in the previous six seasons and I won everything with Chelsea. So I did not expect to watch from the stands.

"I know how the whole club works, I have a great relationship with all players and staff, but none of that has been used."

'If you do not play a player, any player, for two, three or four games, you do not have to give the reason. But if you have eight or nine games, you have to explain the situation. What is going on? But the manager did not do it.

"I see some of the situations with players who have won the title with Chelsea, not just myself, and it has not been fair, it's very hard for me to have respect for anyone." who did not respect what some of us have won with the club. "
