Chelsea News: Glenn Hoddle Recommends Eden Hazard to Join Real Madrid

Glenn Hoddle has urged Eden Hazard to leave Chelsea this summer and says the Belgian "deserves" to play for Real Madrid.

Hazard is one of Zinedine Zidane's main targets before the summer transfer slot, while Chelsea could be forced to sell the 28-year-old, his contract still to be exhausted at the end of the season.

Hazard has refused to enter into a new agreement with Chelsea and would appear to be keen to establish ties with Zidane in Madrid.

And Hoddle thinks it's time for Hazard to leave Stamford Bridge.

"I think Chelsea will be in the Champions League, Hazard is with them … I think it might be the right time for him personally, not for Chelsea or the Premier League, but for him to go to Real Madrid if Hoddle told TSN that he is on the table.

"He deserves to play in this team and they have a reconstruction under way.

"Personally, I would love to see him play in the Premier League, but I have the feeling that he could move.

'Chelsea, for the moment, something is missing but without Hazard in the team and all the hope [goes].

"The only player who was really dangerous for Chelsea when he was not playing so well and Manchester United was in the lead, was Hazard.

"Hazard was doing everything he did normally, he looked lively, he was beating the players, every time he had the ball, something was happening.

"You take it off the team when you have a huge hole to fill.

"Can you fill it? Probably not. And that's a big concern for Chelsea right now.

"And that's where I think they're as a club, they're at a crossroads.

"With their owner, the new stadium is not coming, many players are coming to the end of their contract, as well as the embargo on transfers.

"All these things are not positive. The main thing they have to do is get away from that, win their last two games, figure in the top four or win the Europa League, they are always well placed to win this victory. But I think they will finish in fourth place. "
