Rangnick aligned

Will Maurizio Sarri be at Stamford Bridge next season?

This seems unlikely and German reports have claimed that there was a new name in the frame to replace it – Ralf Rangnick.

Despite the Blues' victory in third place in the Premier League and the Europa League trophy after the victory over Arsenal in the final, the Italian should leave West London to take the first job at Juventus.

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is the big favorite of the post after his success with Derby County's latest campaign, but the German publication Bild now claims that Rangnick is an option for the Blues.

Here is what we know about the move for Rangnick and the man himself.

Warning Lampard

Although Rangnick is the new name in the frame, there is someone who has always been linked to Sarri's replacement at Stamford Bridge – Frank Lampard.

The Blues legend has more than a year of management experience, guiding Derby County to the edge of the Premier League after their defeat in the championship game final at Wembley.

Lampard is an extremely popular figure on the bridge and would be a welcome replacement for Sarri, a subject of contention.

But it lacks some experience and the English legend, Stuart Pearce, warned the chief of the Rams.

Bakayoko update

We could forget that Tiemoue Bakayoko is still a Chelsea player.

The midfielder spent last season on loan with AC Milan after a disappointing first season in England.

But what does the future hold for the Frenchman? Can he win a place in the Chelsea team next season, given that a transfer embargo is imposed on him?
