Real Madrid is reportedly preparing a bid for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer after giving up David de Gea in the Spanish capital.

Zinedine Zidane is back for a second stay as manager of Real and should spend a lot of money at the end of the season. The goalkeeper is one of the positions that he wants to improve.

The Giants of La Liga have chosen three different goalkeepers in the league this season, with Thibaut Courtois, Keylor Navas and Luca Zidane (the son of the coach) competing against each other.

Now they are looking for a new, more permanent option and Kepa is the man they are looking for, according to Team Talk.

The 24-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge only last summer, for a record £ 72m for a goalkeeper. He has been impressive in 44 appearances in all competitions.

However, he has scrambled very publicly with manager Maurizio Sarri when he refused to be replaced in the Carabao Cup final and was sidelined for the next Premier League match.

Real Madrid hopes to capitalize on the resulting troubles and even thinks it can get Kepa for around £ 50m. Chelsea should probably consider Jack Butland and Nick Pope as potential replacements.

Real has long been badociated with a decision from Manchester United striker David de Gea, but it seems that the deal is too complicated to be concluded.

De Gea is asking for a significant salary increase of £ 350,000 a week at Old Trafford, on which the club hangs, despite the end of his contract next year.

Paris Saint-Germain is ready to face and sign the Spaniard, but Real seems to be out of touch with the 28-year-old's offer.
