Chelsea plays a dangerous game with Callum Hudson-Odoi and risks losing to Manchester United, his rival.

The Blues have not yet scheduled contract negotiations with the prestigious English international, his current contract to expire at the end of next season.

Hudson-Odoi was frustrated by the lack of first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge and submitted a transfer request to allow transfer to Bayern Munich in January.

Although Chelsea is willing to offer him a new deal of £ 100,000 a week, talks between the parties have bogged down and no further negotiations have been scheduled, according to the Daily Mail.

Hudson-Odoi and Chelsea have not held extensive discussions since Bayern Munich issued a £ 35 million offer in January, an offer the club's management rejected outright.

But they could be forced to withdraw their money from this 18-year-old this summer or lose it for free next summer.

Although the young man has not yet started his match in the Premier League, he was offered a first start under an English jersey by Gareth Southgate during the international break.
