Frank Lampard, the new manager of Chelsea, may well undergo some major revisions this season.
The former Derby boss could turn to Mason Mount next season, as the two men worked together at Pride Park last season.
Blues supporters asked Lampard to use Mount to replace Jorginho, after the club posted a video of the young player scoring a great free kick on his official Twitter account.
Mount curved the ball in the upper right corner of the drive, leaving Willy Caballero unable to reach it.
"Jorginho's replacement," said a Chelsea fan.
Another said, "New contract. New Lampard era. New no.8. Please and thank you. "
"The new Frank in the making, ahhh love it," said a third fan of the Blues.
"Give him already the number 8," added another Twitter user, while another said, "The best is to be a starter next season."
"We could actually have some good pieces," said another Chelsea fan.
Mount played 38 league games under Lampard for Derby last season.
He scored nine goals from the central midfield and recorded four badists.
The 20-year-old played his first professional games in England at Derby, after spending a year at Vitesse in the Eredivisie club. He played 29 games for the Dutch team, scoring nine goals.
He is now hoping to make his entry into the Chelsea team after a few successful loan years.
Lampard will probably make some changes to Chelsea starting at 11am this season, as the club will not be able to make any transfers.
He will try to promote youth in the club, possibly entrusting key roles to Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham and Mount.
But the club confirmed Real Madrid's Mateo Kovacic signing for £ 40m.
Kovacic played heavily under former boss Maurizio Sarri, with Jorginho.
