The Brazilian winger has not yet resumed training after helping his country win the Copa America three weeks ago.
The 30-year-old has been in talks with the club for several months, but has also attracted interest from Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.

Willian has spent six years in Chelsea since signing the Russian training Anahi Makhachkala for £ 30m.
The young Blues prospect, Callum Hudson-Odoi, has also agreed to sign a new contract with the club.
The 18-year-old English winger will sign a five-year contract worth more than £ 100,000 a week to stay with Londoners from the west.
Hudson-Odoi had been closely linked to Bayern Munich in January and had even filed a transfer request after being offered a £ 35 million offer.
But Lampard is determined to make Hudson-Odoi – currently injured with an Achilles problem – an essential part of his team.
Hudson-Odoi is about to make a comeback after an injury around the month of September, while he hopes to rely on the 24 appearances that he has contested last season under the orders of Maurizio Sarri.
