The Blues winger would desperately want to move to Germany, but he seemed to make a huge U-turn after news claimed he was ready to reject the Germans and stay at Stamford Bridge.
However, the Sun says today that Bayern – who has made four separate offers for the player – has convinced him to make the change with a first team football guarantee and a contract offer of £ 85,000 a week.
Chelsea would offer the 18-year-old, £ 70,000 a week, to stay but Hudson-Odoi would be more concerned about the move so he could increase his playing time.
Hudson-Odoi has not yet played in a Premier League game against the Blues and is struggling to get into the plans of his coach Maurizio Sarri.
Jadon Sancho, 18, a former British international, has become a key figure in Borussia Dortmund, Bayern's rival in the Bundesliga. He would like to make himself known in Germany.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will still be in the bag even if Hudson-Odoi is going away because they will sign a loan with Gonzalo Higuain.
According to Express Sport, the 31-year-old will pbad a medical exam in the coming days before leaving Juventus on loan until the end of the season.
And reports in The Sun say Chelsea will have to pay his entire salary, which is at least double what Bayern offers to Hudson-Odoi.
Sarri has already reiterated his desire to keep Hudson-Odoi despite his reluctance to give him the first team football he wants.
"He is very young and has a great future here in England with the national team and with Chelsea. Staying here is better for him, "he said last week.
"He's ready, I think, for big games. Of course, we have very important players in the same position.
"Do people want Willian on the bench? Or Pedro? I can play with only two wingers.
"Three, it's difficult – but now he's ready. He can play.
"Of course, sometimes he will be on the bench but it is the same as others, I can start to consider him on the same level."
