Chelsea have recruited Gonzalo Higuain, the Juventus striker, on loan for the remainder of the season, with a £ 31.3 million buy option in the summer.

The club also has the opportunity to extend the loan agreement of Argentina until June 2020 for an amount of 15.6 million pounds sterling.

Higuain, who has loaned the first half of the season to AC Milan, made his debut at Chelsea on Sunday in a 3-0 win over Sheffield on Wednesday.

Pete Hall, a Sky Sports man, said Hazard was the key to Higuain's coming.
