That's what ESPN FC's pundit and former Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley said.
Higuain is ready to join the Blues on loan for the rest of the season with an additional 12 month option.
According to reports, Chelsea's director, Marina Granovskaia, in charge of transfers, did not want to recruit the 31-year-old because of her age.
However, Higuain was Sarri's number one target this month after working together for a season in Napoli.
Burley has no doubt that Higuain will be crucial to Chelsea's chances of being in the top four of the season.
He added that Alvaro Morata was to be replaced after an unexpected "crisis of confidence".
And Burley thinks the arrival to Higuain is good news for Sarri, saying it would have been a concern for the Italian if the jury had not done everything possible to sign Argentina.
"Huge, absolutely," Burley said of the Higuain case.
"Particularly in the difficult situation where they find themselves with a failed international striker as the main target of Alvaro Morata.
"It's a disaster, a disaster far beyond what we could have imagined, because he's a good player.
"But he has had a crisis of confidence and what they are going to get now is a natural scorer.
"And two things, the pressure is going to be exerted by the teams looking for fourth place, so it's clear that it's going to be very useful.
"And secondly, it's a bit of a punch for Sarri, because it's clear that the [Christian] Pulisic's signature was a bit of a surprise, it's clearly something that the manager wants.
"He obviously insisted on this point with the Chelsea hierarchy and they said," All right, we'll try to make sure that's right for you. "
"I think that from the point of view of the managers, if they had not pushed the boat for it to be done for Sarri, it would have been a concern for me from the point of view of the manager."
