CHELSEA could recall Aston Villa's Tammy Abraham at the end of the season to solve their attacking crisis.

With an imminent two-window transfer ban and Gonzalo Higuain unable to produce the goods, Maurizio Sarri could call the 21-year-old in his first team.

According to Football London, Chelsea could bring back the English star to Stamford Bridge for the 2019/20 season.

Abraham has been with Chelsea since the age of eight, but has only participated three times in the senior team.

In 2016, he was loaned to Bristol City, where he scored 26 goals in his first campaign.

The striker then scored five times in 31 Premier League matches for Swansea before joining Villa on loan in August 2018.

And he proved he deserved a spot on the Chelsea team with 24 goals and two badists for the championship this season.

Sarri will desperately need to attack the reinforcements this summer and Higuain should be sent to Juventus.

The experienced Argentine has scored only three goals since his loan of the Blues in January.

His teammate Olivier Giroud also confessed that he would leave the club if he was not sure of playing.

The Blues were banned from signing a player for a year after being found guilty of breaking FIFA rules on 29 young players.

The Sarri party will appeal the ban, but failing that, the Italian will have to search for local talent in the ranks of Chelsea.
