Willian insists that he can not wait to face the "dangerous" Liverpool when Chelsea will visit Anfield on Sunday, but admits that it's probably the toughest match of the season.

Chelsea travels north to face Jurgen Klopp's men in the Premier League Super Sunday, both parties need the three points for different reasons.

Liverpool enters the match and seeks to exert more pressure on Manchester City, who could be top of the charts if he beat Crystal Palace earlier in the day, still on stage Sky sports.

Chelsea, meanwhile, is fighting to rank among the top four, and Willian says he'll go to Anfield to win the match.

"Sunday will be a very big game and a very exciting match," he said. "We are ready to play this game and we are excited.

"We have goals in the Premier League and the Europa League, and our goal in the Premier League is to stay in the top four, so we have to go there on Sunday and try to win the match."

Liverpool has not lost to Anfield in the Premier League for 37 matches, a race that dates back to April 2017, when they lost against Crystal Palace.

Although the Reds have not managed to beat Chelsea at home in the league in their previous six meetings – their last win was a 4-1 victory in May 2012 – Willian still thinks it's potentially the most difficult match of the season.

"Yes, of course, we know it, we know how they play, we know how dangerous they are, they have great players, they are in a good time, so we have to be ready," he added.

Liverpool and Chelsea have already played each other twice this season. Maurizio Sarri's men beat Liverpool 2 to 1 at Anfield during the Carabao Cup in September, while it was over between the Stamford Bridge (1-1) teams in the league.
