Chelsea would be angry at former goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who hinted that the Blues had come back on a promise to sell it last summer.
Chelsea would have been left furious by the comments of the former goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
The Belgian left Stamford Bridge for real Madrid during the summer period while there is less than a year to plug, but the 26-year-old recently criticized the club director Marina Granovskaia.
Courtois claimed that Granovskaia had told him in March that he would be allowed to return to Madrid – where his family is located – before being informed by Granovskaia after the World Cup of his obligation to stay at the Blues.
However, according to Sky Sports NewsGranovskaia did not badure Courtois that he would be allowed to sign for Real before the end of his contract in 2019.
Chelsea was – at one point – ready to part with Courtois for a free transfer, but the decision was finally made to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao.
