Danka-Gyeabour II, chief of Onwe in the municipality of Ejisu Ashanti
The region commended the NPP government for the bold decision to
implementation of the free high school program during the first year.
He also urged the government to do everything
possible to maintain the commendable program.
Nana Danka-Gyebour, who did that
praised in an interview with the Ghanaian news agency in Onwe explained that
the government had to be congratulated for having fulfilled its promise of a great campaign.
He said that the government had not waited
The implementation of the promise during campaigns for other elections was commendable.
He said that free high school
The program was one of the best and most popular educational programs
Ghana's government had already implemented because it was capital intensive.
Nana Danka-Gyebour, appealed to both the
school authorities and teachers to do their best to make the program a
success and urged parents whose wards were the beneficiaries of the program to
support it by providing their basic needs.
He also urged entrepreneurs and
suppliers to be honest in their activities by avoiding corruption.
