The CJ described the records of Judge Akoto-Bamfo "as a challenge to other members of the court after demonstrating the virtues of fairness and integrity in his work as a judge.

Addressing the meeting, she said her retirement was "very well deserved but painful because we will not have the pleasure of our sister's company when she leave the bench."
