Ho, July 24, GNA – Togbe Afede XIV,
The supreme leader of Asogli and president of the National House of Chiefs has
allusions to plans to provide chiefs with unique identity cards.
He stated that the initiative was aimed at improving the
image of the institution of chieftaincy and help solve the "identity crisis"
confronted leaders in accessing the public service.
Togbe Afede said this at a meeting of the
House of Regional Chiefs of the Volta at Ho.
He said that diplomatic flags would also be given
the leaders of national and regional houses to fly on their vehicles.
Togbe Afede said that the National House was also
work on amendments to ensure that leaders retain their powers of summoning,
which would be limited to supreme leaders.
He added that the Chamber was making efforts
to ensure mental health in the process of raising stools and skins to priorities.

furniture to make the room comfortable for members.
