Donald Glover presented a new look at a pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles on Thursday night (Feb. 7), coming out with a bushy blond beard – and social media fun with it.
Glover, who plays under the stage name Childish Gambino, sported his new orange-yellow facial hair during a mixer hosted by composer Ludwig Göransson. Glover was all smiles at the party, posing alongside his brother, the writer from Atlanta, Stephen Glover, and Göransson.
Glover is nominated for this year 's Grammy Song for "This Is America," which he has written and produced with Göransson.
The new whitened beard of actor and rapper has certainly left a footprint on social media fans, who compared it to everything from Kanye West's blonde hair to a vintage G.I. Joe figurine.
"Something tells me that Kanye West will start tweeting sooner or later on this subject, and will say that Childish Gambino has the right to whiten his beard," joked a Twitter user.
