A teacher in Massachusetts, USA, felt emotional after receiving a handwritten note from her student consoling her over her partner’s disappearance. “As I mourn the sudden death of my husband, my students warm my heart,” Melissa Milner tweeted, sharing a photo of the note.
In the letter, the student wrote: “Dear Mrs. Milner, I am sorry for your loss. Even if you cannot see Mr. Milner, you should always know that there will always be a line connecting your hearts. Hope you get better soon. “
The note was accompanied by a drawing of Milner looking up at the sky and a rope connecting her heart to that of her husband, which is in the sky.
