On this Valentine's Day, a baby from Chillicothe awaits a gift of heart.
We introduced Walter Bastian, or Wally, in January. Now, the boy sees an improvement while waiting for a heart transplant.
Wally has Barth syndrome, a condition that can only be solved by a gift of heart. His mother said that he was completely devoid of sedatives and oxygen. In addition, he does physical therapy, professional therapy, speech and music. Mom said that he really enjoyed this last!
