BEIJING, May 4 (Xinhua) – A total of 23,377 people died of infectious diseases in mainland China in 2018, according to official data.

Category 201 C diseases accounted for 203 deaths. Foot-and-mouth disease, infectious diarrhea, influenza, mumps epidemics and acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis were the most common in this category, accounting for 99.8% of all cases. case.
