BEIJING, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) – China's Rural Policy Bank has issued loans amounting to 40.5 billion yuan (about 6 billion US dollars) to help the country's forestry sector.
Since the launch of these loan services in 2016, the China Agricultural Development Bank (ADBC) has launched 184 loan projects aimed at protecting and developing forest resources.
Last year, the political bank lent 14.4 billion yuan to increase support for the development of forest ecosystems, he said.
While improving the term structure of sector loans, the ADB extended its services to 25 regions at the provincial level.
In addition, the AfDB has developed a series of sustainable projects for the sector, including PPP project financing, poverty alleviation and coastal eco-management, according to the bank.
Established in 1994, the ADB is under the direct leadership of the State Council to raise funds in a national credit-based market to support the development of agriculture, rural areas and farmers.
