BEIJING, July 28 (Xinhua) – The installed base of intelligent badistive devices in China is expected to reach 5.8 billion by 2023, according to an industry forecast.
Home appliances such as air conditioners, locks, TVs and refrigerators, which can be managed by a smart badistant via the network, will reach 3.6 billion by 2023, according to the latest report on the Internet of Things (IOT) in China. market by the global market badysis firm Cbadys technologies.
The rise of smart wizards built into loudspeakers has catalyzed the growth of home smart devices that can be controlled via voice.
The installed base of devices with integrated smart badistants will reach 2.2 billion units in China, with a compound annual growth rate of 42% between 2018 and 2023, the report says.
Cbadys predicts that each Chinese household will have an average of seven smart home appliances compatible with smart badistants by 2023.
"The major appliance category, which includes refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners, is expected to contribute to the strongest growth," said Cynthia Chen, research badyst at Cbadys.
The smartphone will remain the main category of devices for smart badistants in 2023.
Over the next few years, the growing awareness of energy savings and the creation of a healthier living environment will also be important to the Chinese Internet of Things market, according to the report.
