Azerbaijani singer Chingiz has joined the Italian artist Mahmood in Tel Aviv for pre-Eurovision tourist visits. The two artists arrived in Israel to film their Eurovision 2019 postcards on the same dates and decided to break away from their busy schedule to explore the sunny Israeli city and the nearby city of Ramat Gan.
The excitement came when Chingiz and Mahmood began to discuss other candidates for Eurovision 2019. A few minutes later, they were mutually covering their songs. Mahmood sang a bit of "Truth", the song that Chingiz will perform at next month's contest. Not to be outdone, Chingiz has offered his interpretation of Mahmood's song "Soldi", relying on his smartphone to help write the lyrics in Italian.
Before returning to their busy schedules, Chingiz and Mahmood agreed to meet again in May between the official rehearsals.
