But on Wednesday, Chris Hemsworth recalled happier times, when he posted a return video on the set of Thor: Love and Thunder earlier this year.

In the video, shot in the 38-year-old makeup trailer, he and director Taika Waititi gleefully sang Ashes to Ashes by the late David Bowie.

While Chris was assisted by a hairstylist, singing director Jojo Rabbit began teasing the stylists’ long braids.

Chris remained in the makeup chair, amused that Taika continued to torment the crew member.

He captioned the post “Happy Birthday @taikawaititi”

“Not only a brilliant director, but also super helpful for vocal warm-ups and hair and makeup help, truly a man of many talents #thorloveandthunder @marvelstudios @luca_vannella.”

Chris and his family are locked in their house in Byron Bay.

On Monday, August 9, Byron Bay, Richmond Valley, Lismore and Ballina Shire entered quarantine with restrictions that are expected to remain in place until 12:01 a.m. on August 17.

But after a record number of New South Wales cases were exposed over the weekend, all regional areas were plunged into a new lockdown until at least 12:01 am on Sunday August 22.

The news was first confirmed by Deputy Prime Minister John Barilaro on Twitter at 2:30 p.m. Saturday – and not during the usual 11 a.m. press conference on Covid with NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian.

“To minimize travel and protect our communities from the evolving Covid-19 situation in Sydney, stay-at-home orders will be introduced for all regional NSWs from 5 p.m. tonight,” Barilaro wrote.

NSW Health then released a statement saying residents living outside of the greater Sydney areas will be locked up until 12:01 am on Sunday August 22.

“Following updated health advice from NSW’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr Kerry Chant, Stay-at-Home Orders will apply to all people who live in the NSW area. This means that all of New South Wales will be subject to stay-at-home restrictions from 5pm today.

As in Sydney, everyone in the zones can only leave their homes for food, exercise, medical reasons, to care for a vulnerable person, or for work or education. if it is not possible to do it at home.
