Chris Hughes teases wedding with Jesy Nelson: his greatest ambition

Chris Hughes said that marrying Jesy Nelson's Little Mix was his "greatest ambition".

Big statement.

They may only have been in contact in February, but the Love Island star is already thinking of watching the X Factor's winner wander the aisle.

The 26-year-old reality TV star told Racing Post: "I want to get married, something I can not wait to do one day.

"When I travel, I explore new places, my half not knowing where we are going.

"Being lost in a foreign country with my girlfriend allows me to feel free and that's when I'm happiest."

He added, "I want to continue to develop my presentation skills because I love television a lot and want to do more as my career progresses."

This is not the first time Chris mentions tying the knot to Jesy, 27. His heartfelt confession comes after he's joked about possible nuptials on an Instagram before they break up in love.

In his last message with his girlfriend, he told them a picture of hugs together and wrote: "On vacation, with my best friend … Miss JH".

The initials indicate that he prematurely gave his last name to his girlfriend. Very cute.

Just days before their getaway, Chris was seen squirming about their relationship when asked about Jesy.

When the Aintree races were presented, the reality star was taken by surprise when her co-host, Matt Chapman, could not resist an insolent comment about her new novel.

"I joined favorite Beauvais D'Air, and I know you'll be in the corner of Faugheen as you always are," added Chris.

Unable to resist any eventuality by evoking Chris' new handsome face, Matt added, "Well, you know, I love Faugheen as much as you like Little Mix these days."

"That's right," Chris smiled, looking quite shocked, before shaking his head in disbelief.

After publicly announcing their relationship, Chris appeared on the Kiss FM show, where he talked about his new girlfriend.

"I'm the happiest I've ever been in. It's official, it's my girlfriend," he says before adding, "I'm so happy that she's the kindest girl that I never met.

He laughed, "This is not an exaggeration, she has a heart as if she were your mother or something.

"We hear like the best friends, and that's the beauty about it."
