Pastor Emmanuel Agbenu, the branch pastor of Kings Voice Church in Abor in Keta Municipality urged all Christians to celebrate the Easter season with care.
According to him, the previous Easter holidays were characterized by incidents such as accidents, deaths and others.
Pastor Agbenu also warned all citizens, especially Christians, to be very careful when celebrating the death of Jesus Christ.
He revealed this in an exclusive interview with ModernGhana News on Wednesday March 31 during his special Easter massage to Christians.
He explained that the death of Jesus Christ on the cross saved mankind and his memory should not be taken for granted.
“Jesus Christ died to save us all, and we must not lose lives remembering a day like this,” he said.
Pastor Agbenu added that Easter or any other holiday does not call for a pleasure that, in the end, would put you in trouble.
He further cautioned drivers, motorcyclists and other road users to exercise caution in carrying out their duties.
He also appealed to everyone, especially young people, to give up excessive alcohol consumption and reckless driving before, during and after the Easter holidays.
Pastor Agbenu urges all Christians in particular to observe Covid-19 protocols at all times.
Christians around the world celebrate Easter every year to mark the death and resurrection of our Savior, the Lord Jesus.
