Christians counseled to accept leadership positions

The general overseer of Ablaze City Chapel International, Reverend Isaac Theophilus Mensah, called on Christians to strive for leadership positions in the workplace in order to have a positive impact on society.

He noted that Christians allowed unbelievers who did not fear the Christian virtues of God to take sensitive leadership positions in the country that did not contribute to national development.

Reverend Mensah was speaking at the opening ceremony of a five-day leadership training conference at the Burning City Chapel at Essikado-Mpeasem in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis of the Western Region.

The conference, which is addressed by other ministers of the gospel of the body of Christ, is on the theme, “Training Church Leaders to Own the World.”

The overseer general said that when Christians lead in all spheres of life by leveraging their God-given potentials, they could make the world a better place for all to enjoy life and experience the glory of God.

Reverend Mensah said the Church expects young people to become quality leaders after the conference.

The Chief Pastor of the Bethel Family Chapel in Essikado, Rev. Emmanuel Ainu called on Christians to wake up from their spiritual slumber and own the land.

He advised the “Ministry Giants” in the body of Christ to awaken the sleeping Giants to redeem the earth for glory.

He further condemned the apparent competition among the members of the Body of Christ and pleaded with Christians to wake up and pray fervently for change and for a better world.
